Disney Charter

Our Houston flight was delayed and we didn't get into Orlando until 830pm. Then it took another hour to get to the Charter bus and wait for them to leave. When we got to the Polynesian Disney World Resort which was about a 20 minute drive we checked in and headed to our room.

This was breakdown number one Natalia saw a pool on the way to the room and started screaming she wanted to go swimming, all of us were tired and it seemed that the 5 minute walk took hours. We finally got to the room and we all were ready for bed.

Planning? Who needs Planning

Wednesday August 12th, David and I had no school and we decided to eat lunch on base at the Enlisted Club. David saw an advertisment for Disney World discounts so we decided to look into it. That afternoon we looked at all the prices and was debating whether to go or not. I wasted the whole day online trying to find out tickets and resort info, so... I had to pull an all-nighter to study for my accounting final the next morning August 13th.

On a break at like 4am I found great plane ticket rates and decided to wake David up and go through with it. David got our tickets, and then the race was on. We had to get out the luggage, get packed, make hotel reservations, board the dogs, and oh yeah I had a final to take. Our plane was scheduled to leave at 1245am, we had to hurry. While I studied and packed David got all our reservations together. At 7am, David brought the kids to school for breakfast and dropped off the dogs. One problem... Camp Bow Wow was booked solid, so we to find a kennel fast. Found one not too far from the house, but since we had never been there before David had to come back home and get their shot records.

Before we knew it, it was already 9am and I still had a final to do, it was scheduled at 10am, but I decided to go in and see if I could take it early. Luckily, the teacher let me and I was in and out before 10am. Got home to help David finish packing the car, and we were off. We had to pick up the kids and make it to the airport. Traffic slowed us down, we didn't get to the airport till about 1130am. We still had to park, check our luggage, and get to the plane...So although we made it, it was a busy morning.
